Do I need experience?

Yes — basic cutting knowledge. This is not an introductory course: we assume you already handle shears confidently.

How does payment work?

You secure your place with a 30% deposit here on the site. The balance is due up to seven days before, in up to five interest-free instalments. The deposit is non-refundable because the place is held for you.

How many people per class?

Eight at most. Beyond that it is impossible to follow each student’s practice — and the practice is the course.

Two days of advanced women’s cutting across textures, with applied visagism and hands-on practice.

Most cutting courses teach you to repeat a shape. This one teaches you to decide the shape: why that line, on that face, on that texture. It is the difference between executing and designing — and it is what separates the professional who copies trends from the one clients ask for by name.

Who teaches

Nelma Faleiro taught cutting, barbering and image harmonisation at university level for ten years and wrote the teaching material for those subjects. This course is the condensed version of a full semester.

Day 1 · Execution and finishing
Step-by-step execution of the short bob II, finishing and design. Practical assessment.

Day 2 · The pixie
Visagism applied to short hair, pixie technique and execution of the pixie II.
04
Day 2 · Textures
Adapting both shapes for wavy, curly and coily hair — including dry cutting.
