The beard is done with a straight razor, with a hot towel first — opening the pores so the hair can be cut without pulling at the root — and essential oils afterwards, calming the skin and reducing irritation on face and neck.
Thinning and receding hairlines
If the issue is shedding, a receding hairline or thinning on top, there is a path other than shaving it off and hoping: a scalp assessment measures density and diameter and shows where active follicles remain. Many men find out too late that something could have been done.
